Mrs. Rose
I and am so excited to still call BPE my home and value the opportunity to teach your children in the gym! I have been in Eanes ISD for 31 years, the last 20 at BPE, and it is so much fun to see this district grow and to teach so many families in this amazing community.
My husband, Brian, and I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible - running, biking, hiking or anything near water. We have two daughters who are both Bridge Point graduates! Kelsey graduated from Texas State University and and has found her passion in the food truck industry here in Austin! Stop by Hot Mess on E. 6th where she manages the truck and creates amazing cuisine! Jamie and our son-in-law, Ryan, live in Dallas and are both engaged in careers while they chase around 19 month old Mattie and are expecting number 2 in late September. We have become very familiar with I-35!
This year I have been scheduled to teach in the mornings, which means I will be teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th graders along with Kathy Dean. It is my goal to keep each child as active as possible when they are in PE class and to introduce and teach skills and motor development through a variety of games and activities. I always say, if you're not having fun in PE class - something is wrong! I hope class will be fun and offer learning opportunities for each student!
